Chromosomes & Chromatin
Chromatin is long-thin strands of the DNA-protein complex. Chromatin is unfolded, uncondensed, carry on of DNA, while chromosomes are condensed DNA. Chromosomes are condensed chromatin and chromatin is unfolded chromosomes. Functions of chromosomes are that they control some of the activities of a living cell. Chromosomes are need for the process of cell division (mitosis), and are responsible to replicate during cell division. Chromosomes are found in the nucleus. Chromatins functions are to store DNA in the nucleus.
